Builders Association of Greater Boston Installs Wendy Ganson as a Board of Director Officer for 2009

The Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) is pleased to announce the installation of the 2009 Board of Directors. The annual installation dinner and ceremony was held on November 5th at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

 

Gary Ruping, President of Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAM),had the honor of swearing in the new Executive Committee Officers and Board of Directors. The newBoard is charged with directingthe strategic direction of Massachusetts’ largestresidential building and remodeling trade organization.

Outgoing BAGB President Stefanos Efstratoudakis had the opportunity to recognize the contributions and commitment from outgoing Directors and Executive Committee Officers. “It has been my privilege to serve as BAGB President for 2008,” he said. “I have been a member of BAGB for over 10 years now. It has been 10 years of learning, of growing as a person and as a businessman, and 10 years of meeting some great people and peers of this great profession. I’d like to thank the BAGB members for trusting me with the Presidency.

 

Craig Meyer, the newly installed 2009 President, stated, “I am pleased to have such a strong and experienced slate of Officers and Board members at BAGB in 2009. I look forward to working with them to promote homebuilding in greater Boston in an important year for our industry. Focusing on getting back to basics will be essential not only for our businesses, but for the Association as a whole in the year ahead.”

 

BAGB, a trade Association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and HBAM, was established in 1944 and has evolved into one of the leading trade associations in New England. The membership consists of all sized businesses that relate to the building industry, ranging from home builders to any company that sells products and services to builders.
